About Us
Rhynco started with a bold idea: what if palm waste - once seen as a costly, climate-harming problem - could become part of the solution? Founded by a group of passionate scientists and entrepreneurs, we set out to transform the way the world sees agricultural byproducts.
At the heart of our work is a unique process that uses insects to break down discarded palm trunks, converting them into high-value insect oil, protein, and regenerative fertilisers. It's clean, scalable, and designed to fit directly into existing palm plantations. By tackling waste where it originates, we help producers lower emissions, boost soil health, and create new revenue streams from what was once just a burden.
But Rhynco isn’t just about technology. It’s about impact. Our values are rooted in circular thinking, green innovation, and a deep respect for the communities and ecosystems we aim to support.
Where We Work
From our research base in the UK, we work with partners in hotspots of palm agriculture where our the benefits our technology will be most impactful.
